Art

Tom Crago was one of 100 artists from 32 countries whose work was featured in the inaugural National Gallery of Victoria Triennial in Melbourne, Australia. The Triennial surveyed the world of art and design, across cultures, scales, geographies and perspectives. ‘Materials’ is a new kind of interactive experience that explores the potential of games to encourage mindfulness and reflection while engaging participants in a poetic investigation of the human psyche: a journey of isolation, self-discovery, agency and creativity. Key elements of the experience have been created with Australian artists William Mackinnon, Viv Miller, Indigo O’Rourke, Mark Rodda and Kate Tucker, with sound design and composition by David Shea.

Materials was subsequently acquired by the NGV, for its permanent collection.
